Getting started & the free tier

3 questions

Can I try eStudyGate for free before subscribing?

Yes. Every student gets a full-length mock (the Level 0 diagnosis) and 50 practice questions per exam, with the full explanation for every option, pace tracking and a topic-by-topic weakness map. No card is needed and the free tier never expires.

Do the free questions reset every day?

No. The 50 free practice questions are a one-time allowance per exam family (all GAT categories share one allowance, for example). The daily challenge of 5 questions is separate and stays available every day.

What does Full Access include?

All 10 full-length papers on the difficulty ladder (Basic to Final), unlimited practice and drills, the full analytics (heatmap, insights, mistakes notebook with step-by-step rationales), and your personal coaching plan, for one exam.

Compare Free and Full Access →

How do I pay without a credit card?

By bank transfer to our company account at Askari Bank (title: ESTUDY GATE (PRIVATE) LIMITED). You can send it from any bank app, JazzCash or Easypaisa. Enter the transaction ID on the Subscribe page and send the slip on WhatsApp (+92 310 5362277) or by email.

How long does approval take?

We verify every payment by hand. It usually takes a few hours during the day and always less than one business day. Full Access switches on automatically once approved.

What happens after 3 months or 10 mocks?

Full Access lasts 3 months or 10 finished mocks, whichever comes first. Afterwards you keep your account, your full mock history and your analytics, and return to the free plan. You can renew any time for another 3 months and 10 fresh mocks.

Is the price the same for every exam?

No. Each exam has its own price, shown on the pricing page and on the Subscribe page for that exam. When a sale is running, the discounted price is shown.

Mocks & questions

5 questions

How close are the mocks to the real exam?

Each paper follows the exam body's published pattern: the same sections, question counts, time limit and negative-marking rules. Where the exam body publishes sub-topic quotas (GAT, HAT, NAT), every paper draws them exactly. PMP papers follow PMI's July 2026 Examination Content Outline.

How many mocks are there, and are they all the same difficulty?

There are 11 papers on a ladder: a free Level 0 diagnosis, then Basic, Advanced, Expert and a Final paper, each a little harder. Advanced papers match real exam difficulty; Expert and Final are harder on purpose.

How the mock ladder works →

Are these real past papers or leaked questions?

No. Every question is original material we write, matched to the real exam's topics, difficulty and format. Leaked or unverified papers often carry wrong keys.

How do you know the answer keys are right?

Every answer key is independently blind-solved before a question goes live, and anything ambiguous is fixed or retired. Every option, right and wrong, has its own explanation. If you ever disagree with a question, the report button on it sends it straight to our content team.

Can I pause a mock?

No, just like the real exam hall. The clock keeps running on our server even if you close the tab, and an unsubmitted paper that runs out of time isn't scored. Start a mock only when you have the full time free.

Analytics

5 questions

What do the heatmap colours mean?

Red topics are below 50% mastery and cost you the most marks; amber are close; green are exam-ready. Blue (provisional) and grey mean there is not enough data yet.

How does eStudyGate calculate topic mastery using Bayesian Knowledge Tracing (BKT)?

Unlike basic apps that only calculate raw accuracy (correct ÷ total), eStudyGate uses Bayesian Knowledge Tracing (BKT). BKT calculates the mathematical probability that you truly know a concept: it discounts lucky guesses (a 1-in-4 fluke), accounts for careless slips, and gives greater weight to your recent answers. This ensures your mastery reflects what you actually know today.

What is Knowledge Decay and why should I Re-Diagnose?

Human memory naturally decays over weeks and months (the forgetting curve). Concepts you knew 90 days ago fade if not retrieved. Sitting the free Level 0 Diagnosis cold uncovers decayed topics immediately. Once identified on your Mastery Map, 1-click targeted drills bring decayed topics straight back to green.

Why does my percentile say "not enough attempts"?

A ranking needs at least five students on the same paper. Until then eStudyGate shows nothing rather than an invented number.

How performance insights work →

How does the leaderboard work?

You earn Knowledge Points for correct answers (more for harder questions, capped per day), for each different mock you finish, and for each day you take the daily challenge. It is visible only to signed-in students.

4 questions

Which exams do you cover?

Live now: GAT, HAT, NET, ECAT, MDCAT, NAT, ISSB, PMP, CSS MPT and PMS. Coming next: GRE.

Browse every exam guide →

Can I prepare for more than one exam or category?

Yes. Switch category (for example GAT A to C) from the sidebar at any time; your practice carries across the family. Add a different exam from Dashboard → Exams; each exam keeps its own heatmap, mocks and plan.

GAT or HAT: which should I prepare for?

Both run in 2026: NTS conducts GAT General and HEC conducts HAT, and universities differ in which they ask for. Check your target university's current requirement. Both are live here, each in its own official pattern.

Which GAT do I need? →

Is eStudyGate affiliated with NTS, HEC, NUST, PMDC or PMI?

No. We are completely independent. We build practice material that follows the official exam patterns, and exam names are used only to describe those patterns.

Account & devices

3 questions

Is there an app to install?

No install needed. eStudyGate runs in your phone's browser and is built for mid-range Android phones on patchy 4G. The mock saves as you go, so a dropped signal never costs you the paper.

Who is behind eStudyGate?

A team of university professors, industry professionals, certified project managers and assessment specialists. Every question is checked by a subject expert before it goes live.
