PMS is the provincial equivalent of CSS — run independently by each province’s own Public Service Commission (PPSC for Punjab, SPSC for Sindh, KPPSC for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, BPSC for Balochistan), not by FPSC.
Punjab’s PPSC has officially confirmed a General MCQ Test as a screening stage ahead of its main written exam. Whether the other provinces run an equivalent stage hasn’t been confirmed yet — we’ll add that once verified.
Testing cadence
Each province’s commission runs its own PMS cycle roughly once a year — check your specific PSC for this year’s schedule.

A PPSC (Punjab) PMS result has no bearing on Sindh, KP, or Balochistan’s own PMS process — check with the specific provincial commission you’re applying through.
