ECAT (Engineering College Admission Test) is administered by UET Lahore and is the standard engineering-admission entry test across Punjab.

It’s offered in several subject-combination tracks — Math/Physics/Chemistry, Math/Physics/Computer Science, Math/Statistics/Computer Science, Biology/Physics/Chemistry, and Math/Statistics/Physics — matched to FSc Part I & II syllabus content.

Testing cadence

UET runs ECAT in two phases per admission cycle — Phase-II 2026 ran 17–21 June across UET Lahore and partner institutions in Punjab.
